Friendship day muses

August 4, 2008 by rinku

Simply happy that on the name of friendship day, i am all updated about friends happening or at least rejuvenated my lame social life in a way via phone/email/card/sms to n fro/chat from every nook n corner of the small world.

It feels the long crib+cack+arbit session are back with a bang, reminding of old insti days with fresh touches of so called mature talks, mostly on crib list new entry i.e. sucking jobs, high level relationship updates(*no silly details), Gyaan movie/books checklist and what not (But, Pappu can’t mention sala:D)

This Blog is simply to mark my belief to make the day’s presence as SPECIAL!!

(Courtecy : KUNGFu panda)
The secret ingredient of my secret ingredient soup is NOTHING.
There is no secret ingredient. Its just YOU.

I am yours’

July 30, 2008 by rinku

Jason Marz : I’m Yours lyrics

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
And now I’m trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I’ll be giving it my bestest
Nothing’s going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it’s again my turn to win some or learn some

I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I’m yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love
Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
I like peaceful melodys
It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love love

So I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

I’ve been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I’m saying is there ain’t no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It’s what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

Well no no, well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
I like one big family (2nd time: I like happy family)
It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved love love love

I won’t hesitate no more
Oh no more no more no more
It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved, I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

No I won’t hesitate no more, no more
This cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours, I’m yours

MP’s get CREATIVE

July 22, 2008 by rinku

I simply can’t resist the temptation to put a comment on Indian Parliamentary League. The so called political hullabaloos of trust vote, which will be deciding the fate of UPA govt.

While, there is enough to read everywhere on how & why of Trust Vote. I am interested in putting the creativity of MP’s in such rustle. It’s commendable of them, that in such a crisis zone, they are able to grind their creative juices :)

NDA: Non Delivering Agent
UPA: United Poacher Association
BSP: Buying Samajwadi Party
CPM: Cross Party Morcha

Well, further update on same. Now, Media gets creative with using songs like ” SINGH IS KING” and all possible flashy n catchy oneliners.

Usual status update
Book: Paulo Coelho “The devil & miss Prym”
Music: AR Rahman “Lukkha chupi n Kahin to hogi wo “
Mood: Irritating n Pricky
State of mind: Zombie (technically speaking Out of STATE )

Enjoy doing nothing

June 17, 2008 by rinku

From last few days, i am simply lazing around (Obviously not talking about Official work) in Amchi Mumbai. Actually speaking, when i was in Hyd did everythign but not enjoyed as such. Now, as such havent done anything special still njoying the nothingness.

but, from last few days…life is on rocking mode from all parameters. Inspite of all this my cribu parameter is still indicating constant green light.

• Firstly- Sumeet off to S’pore today(Just for memory sake:P)..cudnt go to see him off :(
• Gsearch of House is on..yet no success. Trust me, its real pain in ass to get the House/Home.
• Mumbai is rocking all time, with early monsoon, house search, local train travel, IIT stay..Literaly, met so many new people in short span than in entire tenure of HYD. My lukkha stint is almost back.
• Work so far so good. Getting to know Old Govt Legacy system….one must see it:D
• May 22 HYD(AP)–>B’lore(Karnataka)–> Mysore(Karnataka)–>Wynard(Kerala)–>B’lore(karnataka)–>Mumbai(Maharastra)–> Indore(MP)–> June 17 Mumbai(Maharastra) All i can say travelled 5 states in last 25 days and in coming next 2 weeks i ll be again in my travelling mode of HYD, Mumbai, Chennai….n dunno know where. So, in short quite adventurous.
• May 18: Did hazaar shopping, hair cut…Thank God, this time i dint buy any new pair of shoe. Took an onerous work…results awaiting

Well, i got to rush home now. Signing off for while, i will get back with full bang on all about my last weekend fultu TP on terrific mix of genres of movies ranging from tollywood to hollywood to korean. ADs, an artistic touch…

February 16, 2008 by rinku

AAA: All About Ads.
The mundane has a habit of catching up with You occupying your psyche and making you believe you actually love selling/buying toothpastes or shampoos.

Usually rush/avalanche of ads during important 1day or some big cine buster..But for me, it is now naturally coming these days….. I am really into ads as far as televisions are concerned, other than Mtv, NDTV Profit or Goodtimes for leisure or just passing time.

Little bit of flashback. NO PARAMPARA/tradition…Yeh Sab bakwaas hain. Certainly, background helps us to scratch the underlying layers and create a better understanding of each other as far as context is concerned.

Well, I started analyzing ads or actually noticing & appreciating the nitty gitty behind an add very recently. Thanks to ads elective in SOM. (Will add more detail analysis later….i dont want to digress anymore on the name of MAKING..)

In really short span of a min it tells you the whole story…the creativity What amazes me is usually a very simple funda… much of which based on

KISS principle: Keep it simple n stupid . Basically general junta ko chamke..how true it applies in all matters of life;) Stick to basics…it usually speak ur heart and gives u genuinine feel without even a glimpse of attitude or so called showoff. BASICS rocks !!!! Whenever i tried to get immune to traditional values ..i simply cant’ they are so basic too me that even if i try to turn it off..it continues to turn me on !!(Courtecy: Samsung)

B4 going in details, I m gonna rate my current fav which holds me from shuffling the remote.

1. Asian paints: “Kamal ho gaya Tau, banglo to abhi bhi chamak riya hian tau”/ Kya sunil babu, BADHIYA Hain”
2. MOtorazer : Hey little boys, little gal’s with hot hunk and sexy babe…with amazing catchy music.. Comon’
3. Moods: My man…yeh kya hua, kaise hua…such a revelation through the song which do not fit in main theme category
4. Cadbury ads: Kya baat hain Jindagai main..the very old one on cricket pitch..MY FAV…Kuch Mitha ho jaye is also Kadak one liner.
5. Vodafone/Hutch : Girls singing Pahla Nasha..or Guy waiting in Lift for a soulmate..n the Classic dogy one…YOU N I in this beautiful world..Wherever you go our Network follows(Completely false fact..though it saved many in HYD Blast and no blame on me if my phone is unreachable.
6. Naukri.com: Hari Sadu..H for hitler, A for arrogant, I for idiot…n S for stupid..MAAshaallah.
7. Recent Canara bank adds: ham badle apno ke liye…Nicely presented

Some one liners which are too too catchy: Bada hain to behtar hian, Zor ka zatka dhire se lage, Wah Sunil “Babu Badhiya hian”, Yaara Da TASHAN, You n I in this beautiful world..

Some worst one , irritating one thought catchy: Mind n body heart n soul mujme shakti hian anmol, Mera ashirvad hian tumhare saath, Yeh under ki baat hian wagerah wagerah…

Many more to come…And you all please feel free to add ad to this list!!! AAJ ke liye itna ki bai khabren phir kabhi:D

Weird Laws..but quite true

January 10, 2008 by rinku

Murphy’s Original Law
If there are two or more ways to do something, and one of those ways can result in a catastrophe, then someone will do it.

Murphy’s Law
If anything can go wrong — it will.

Murphy’s First Corollary
Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.

Murphy’s Second Corollary
It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

Quantized Revision of Murphy’s Law
Everything goes wrong all at once.

Murphy’s Constant
Matter will be damaged in direct proportion to its value.

The Murphy Philosophy
Smile… tomorrow will be worse.
